    Systems and architecture

    • Develop and operate web applications with PHP, CodeIgniter, Node.js, LoopBack, Angular, TypeScript and MySQL.
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions across applications, APIs, data models, integrations and infrastructure.
    • Design and maintain REST APIs and integrations with customers, providers and external services.
    • Modernise legacy systems through refactoring, dockerisation and architectural improvements.

    Delivery and cloud

    • Review code and merge requests, define technical standards and provide hands-on guidance to the development team.
    • Manage CI/CD pipelines, GitLab Runners, Docker, Nginx and deployments across development, staging and production.
    • Coordinate calendar-based releases and apply hotfixes when production incidents require an immediate fix.
    • Operate AWS infrastructure: EC2, RDS, S3, SNS, SES and VPC networking.
    • Design a workflow based on AI agents that the team currently uses to support planning, implementation, debugging and code review.

    Reliability and operations

    • Diagnose and resolve critical production incidents through code, logs, databases and infrastructure analysis.
    • Automate recurring processes with Python, Bash and cron jobs.
    • Coordinate technical delivery with Operations, Business, Support and external technology providers.

A private-by-design iOS app for understanding and managing personal finances.

Problem

Money was spread across several bank accounts and places, making it hard to see total net worth or anticipate recurring payments and money owed to me.

Why I built it

The goal was to see my full financial picture at a glance while keeping every piece of data on the device, with no connection to any bank platform.

DashNet dashboard with Wi-Fi speed test results

DashNet

A local-first Wi-Fi monitor that runs scheduled speed tests, stores network context and classifies connection health. Each result can be opened on Ookla's Speedtest website when it is needed as evidence.

Problem

Intermittent drops in home internet speed were difficult to prove to the provider because measurements were not taken under consistent conditions.

Why I built it

It grew out of the need to monitor the connection at regular intervals from the same device and preserve comparable evidence over time.

A social platform for finding shared homes and compatible flatmates through maps, messaging and reviews.

Problem

Students often struggled either to find a shared flat or to find compatible flatmates for a flat they already had.

Why I built it

My final degree project focused on helping owners and tenants get to know each other before sharing a home, supported by reviews.
